Anybody intersted in getting together for picnic/performance at the Shakespeare Festival this summer? Anybody have details on schedule? ticket sales? etc.

Any suggestions for a first-timer? Gear to bring? Suggested play? Parking? Other?

Information on this year's ISU Shakepseare Festival is now available. They're going to be presenting a play not written by Shakespeare directly, The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare in 97 Minutes. I've seen this play twice at different theaters and it is hilarious. It takes the right actors to pull it off, but if it is well done, it is not to be missed.

It's not too early to start thinking about buying tickets and getting a group together to go to the shows.

Anybody have any information on ticket prices? Buy them online or at a ticket office? Do you need to buy them together to go together as a group? Do they offer group discounts?

Here's a link to the festival: http://www.thefestival.org/

They do offer "generous" discounts for groups of 15 or more according to the group link under tickets. Good idea to look into group tickets. (This also might be a nice activity to invite some of our SKI friends to join in if they are Shakespeare fans.)

Congrats Stem on your promotion to blue status.
