Toonies & Loonies

Postby StemChristie » Mon Dec 24, 2007 7:13 pm

You might hear the Whistler locals talk about Toonies and Loonies. If so, its not just because a certain Bill V. has been to Whistler before. :P Toonie is the common vernacular for a $2 coin. A loonie is a $1 coin. So if you're at the bar with Bill and the waitress asks if you've got a loonie, ask her to be more specific!!
