Have you determined if cars are available for rental near Whistler?

Avis does have cars available for rent in Whistler. Location is 4315 Northlands. Reservations available at 1-800-879-2847.

I have requested 3 minivans from Avis. These are special request vehicles. I should find out after Christmas if they will be available. Price is Cn $127. So for 6 people per van, cost is about $23 + gas.

Full size cars (Impala) are available for $88 and 12 passenger vans for $217. I don't think most U.S. personal auto insurance covers a 12-passenger van rental so insurance would be extra and its pricey.

Rental cars will give us more flexibility as long as we can find some volunteers to drive. Whistler rental office opens at 8:30 am, closes at 5:30 pm.
